Sometimes the hardest thing to do is to take the first step. It takes courage to ask for help, admit you have a problem or recognize vulnerabilities. I am here to help you, listen and work with you collaboratively to create a plan moving forward. I create a welcoming, safe environment to explore any issues that present themselves.
Sometimes we hold our problems, worries, insecurities so closely we lose perspective. Other times we just can’t seem to get “a handle” on what isn’t going right in our lives. We live active lives and at times we get disconnected from ourselves, or significant others.
I am genuinely interested in listening to you and helping you find your answers. I will hold a place for you to talk, cry, be silent, feel anger or joy or explore the feeling of being disconnected and unable to identify why you feel the way you do.
“Consider a tree for a moment. As beautiful as trees are to look at, we don’t see what goes on underground-as they grow roots. Trees must develop deep roots in order to grow strong and produce their beauty. But we don’t see the roots. We just see and enjoy the beauty. In much the same way. What goes on inside of us is like the roots of a tree”. – Joyce Meyer
